Each cake is individually designed and made-to-order, so it is difficult to provide a fixed price list.


As a guide, a simply decorated 6" cake would serve approx 10-12 and start at around £45.  The cost will increase with the complexity of design / size / number of tiers / accessories.  All cakes are provided boxed.  Payment can either be by bank transfer prior to collection or cash on collection / delivery.  For larger orders and weddings, a small deposit will be required to secure the booking. 


Cupcakes start at £3.50 each with a minimum order of 6.  This includes a butter-cream frosting topping and decoration such as fresh fruit, sweet treats or sprinkles.  For more complex / time-consuming designs, please get in touch for a personalised quote.  Cupcakes come in presentation boxes of 6 or 12 and make ideal gifts.


For wedding cakes, I need as much notice as possible so that together we can create something special.  Dates get booked up quickly so the sooner we can confirm the date, the better.  Each wedding cake is bespoke so it is helpful when making initial contact if you include the wedding date, venue, approximate number of guests, and any colours / themes / styling / floral detail / other cake inspiration so that I can get back to you with a rough quote.

I usually meet up with couples in Ashbourne about 3-6 months before the wedding date to talk through plans and have some cake tasters.  Alternatively, if you live further afield / have limited spare time, I bake batches of samples to post out every few months and we can continue to converse via email or set up a Zoom meeting.

If you'd like to book me to make your wedding cake, a £50 Save The Date retainer will secure your wedding date.  This is non-refundable as it includes cake samples and all the admin between now and your wedding day but it will, of course, be deducted from your final balance.

Full payment for your wedding cake is due at least 4 weeks before the wedding.

As you will see from my gallery of wedding cakes, I specialise in contemporary naked / semi-naked / buttercream cakes incorporating texture, colour, fresh flowers & foliage in an informal style rather than traditional fondant iced cakes decorated with sugar flowers, ruffles or characters.
